2004 Weedman National Family Gathering

The 2004 Weedman National Family Gathering held from August 20-22, 2004 in San Diego was highly successful!

Over 60 family members participated in the Friday night activities which included a dinner and get acquainted session.
Saturday morning, a trolley tour of the beautiful City was conducted and went through Old Town, the water front, into Coronado Del Mar and back to a water front picnic. A stroll of the Sea Village and local areas concluded the afternoon.
The Reunion dinner and activities included a talk by Marianne Montgomery, then a brief history of the first 100 years in America by Nick Weedman. The Hall of Fame induction was conducted and included Charles Vern Weedman, attorney of Malibu, CA; Lauren Huntington Weedman, writer and performer residing in Seattle, WA; and Polly Weedman, pioneer radio and television broadcaster formerly of Rapid City, SD and now residing in Naples, FL. Special recognition was given to Ethel Weedman Ozbirn who celebrated her 96th birthday on August 21, 2004.
91 people participated in the Reunion Dinner.
Paul and Emily Weedman, Bill and Thea Weedman, Aida Weedman, Mark and MaryClare Weedman, and Nana and Jim Anthony were the principal organizers of the event and they did a superb job!
